Vanilla cream earl grey is a type of earl grey tea. Earl grey refers to a 19th-century British aristocrat and Prime Minister, Charles Grey, who is credited with introducing the blend.
Introduced in the late 1800s, this tea has gained in popularity in recent years. It is made from Ceylon black tea blended with natural vanilla flavouring and bergamot oil.
The essential oils of bergamot in this blend give it its signature flavour and aroma.
Sri Lanka has the perfect environment for growing quality teas like earl grey because of its rich soil and moderate climate conditions.
